EXPERIENCE 
Cocoa Trade & Consultants Sarl, Paris                                                                                     2006 - 2013
Main commodities brokered: cocoa beans, cocoa products and coffee

Owner, Brokerage & Consultancy Company 
	Brokering mainly with the trading companies and chocolate manufacturers
	Selling cocoa beans, liquor, butter and cocoa powder as the representative agent of manufacturers
	Selling coffee from essentially West African origins to dealers
	Consultant (surveys, prospecting, factory and equipment evaluation, negotiation, trusted advisor)
	Developed and deployed an automated price warning software for SMS usage 
	to update prices following market in real time. This service is charged to origin clients.

Efico nv, Antwerp  										2003 - 2005
Trading house specialized in "gourmets" coffees.

	Started and developed the cocoa department 
	Sourced cocoa from Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Togo, Santo Domingo, Ecuador
	Sold products to cocoa pressers and chocolate industries.
	Traveled extensively at origin and destination countries

	Acted as consultant and agent in Côte d'Ivoire on behalf of a large international coffee dealer.
	Put together substantial commercial deals with Ivorian exporters
	Sold cocoa from exporters of Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Madagascar to essentially European dealers
	Redacted and published a weekly letter for exporters analyzing and forecasting the market for exporters

Compagnie Générale d'importation des Cafés (CGIC), Bordeaux						1992 - 1993
Specialized in the coffee merchanting to roasters

General Manager 
	CGIC had significant losses
	Analyzed the status and concluded that the best outcome was to negociate bank financing without guarantees 
	and close the company without being bankrupt.
	Stopped speculative trading responsible for a major portion of the losses
	Negotiated physical transactions to generate cashflow and increase working capital
	CGIC was folded without any debts and a straightened balance sheet.


JAG International SA , Paris										1989 - 1991
International coffee, cocoa merchant

Commercial Director 
	Sold coffee and cocoa to top brand manufacturers such as Nestlé, 
	Main clients Nestlé, Blommer Chocolate, Cadbury, Kraft, Barry Callebaut and Ferrero
	Established a cocoa organoleptic selection with M&M Mars and Cadbury
	Purchased cargo rice from USA and exported to Ivory Coast

	Led or control projects, participated in negotiations and control their implementation on behalf of JAG group.
	- STOCACI:  a silo of 33'000T cocoa beans in bulk under neutral gas
	- UTPA:     4 coffee hulling plants and 10 silos of 110'000T total storing capacity
	- SORIZCI:  3 paddy hulling plants and cleaning of the rice
	- FACI:     1 plant of livestock feed
	Participated to the first trials of transport of cocoa and coffee in bulk container with end users
	Followed up and expanded exports for cocoa and coffee markets: cocoa 60'000T and coffee 40'000T yearly.
